We've had warm sunny weather this weekend down in the south of the UK which put me in mind of BBQ's as that seems to be the popular thing to do when the sun shines....

One of my favourite die sets from Sugarpea Designs is the Backyard BBQ, such a good collection of dies. I used coloured card to cut most of the pieces and just used scissors to trim shapes and layer them up. The food and beer glass were cut in white card so I could colour the items with alcohol markers. I wanted to keep it a clean and simple design, great for a guys card and also to make the colours pop against all that white space. To add a bit of interest I used the Hero Arts Abstract Graphic Texture die to pattern a piece of card which I had cut into an abstract shaped panel.

The sentiment is the fantastic bold Wishes Enclosed stamp set which has some very usable wording for your cards and the matching die set cuts them perfectly and with good detail too. Unfortunately these dies are out of stock at the moment but you can use the back in stock notification if youd like the store to order them. I was thinking about adding a sub sentimnt under the main wording but I think I'll leave it for now and see who I decide to send it too :)
