Birthday Magic
I've kept things simple this week with lots of white space for this marvellous magician and his birthday message...
I just love the way he's standing with his arm out.... perfect for a sentiment which he has made float in the air as only a magician could do!! I coloured him and used the matching dies to cut him out. The first part of the sentiment is from the same set but I decided to use the alphabet from the Letter Message board to add the word BIRTHDAY instead.
I coloured the letters with alcohol markers in three shades of red to match waistcoat and bow tie... very smart. The background sparkle has been stamped using the turnabout from Concord & 9th's Magical Day set... I didn't use it as a usual turnabout with the jig, just stamped it freehand as a pattern like that is more forgiving. For a finishing touch I used the Fine Finish Edge die down each side of the card panel to trim the width down and allow the pale blue card base to show which compliments the inks used to stamp the background.
Thanks for stopping by, catch you next week :)
