Birthday wishes with The Greetery Best Bouquet Details set

Morning all!

I'm back with a little floral number featuring a great die set from the new Jubilee collection by The Greetery.

The Best Bouquet product suite includes multi-step stamps and a coordinating base die, but also a wonderful details die set that can be used on its own.

That's the die set I'm featuring today.

But if you love stamp layering like I do, I highly recommend the stamp set and the outline die that cuts out the bouquet and is also compatible as a shadow base for the Best Bouquet Details set.

I wanted to go with some bright colours from my stash of cardstock scraps for this first outing.

The dies all cut like a dream, and the cut details in the petals and leaves really add the perfect finishing touch.

The petal layers also add a pop of dimension, you just have to remember to make sure you only add glue to the centres when sticking them down so you can curl up the petals.

Once my bouquet was made, I just needed to build the rest of my card around it.

I grabbed some coordinating patterned papers and used The Greetery Crimped Frame and Mama Elephant Oval Scallop Frames sets to create the aperture for the bouquet.

For the sentiments, I needed something compact, so I grabbed The Greetery's Shelved stamp set and my trusty set of Sentiment Suite Basics dies.

I then remembered the Curio Divider & Details die set has some paperclip dies in it (and sentiment strips that also fit compact stamps), and lo and behold there was already a gold paperclip from a previous craft session ready and waiting to be used. And that nicely completed the little sentiment cluster at the top of the card.

Until next time, happy crafting!
