Buds, Blossoms & Kindness
Hello & Happy Thursday.
This week I was inspired by the new Seven Hills Crafts monthly challenge to use a stamp, a stencil and a die. Now, this could be a fairly easy challenge if you used a collection that contained all 3 items. The Kristina Werner and Concord & 9th products and recent collections are good choices.
However, I thought I would challenge myself a little more and combine some favourites and some new products that are fast becoming favourites and a die I have yet to use. Here is what I came up with.
I already knew I wanted to use the Kristina Werner A2 Thin Frames Dies, the smaller one. I’ve not used them yet, but love the look.
Next, I just had to use my favourite C9 Buds & Blossoms stamps as I’m sure they won’t be around forever! I came across this previously ink blended panel of card which was perfect to stamp the bloom and leaves. As I don’t have the coordinating dies I fussy cut the images out.
I then reached for a sentiment from Concord & 9th Thinking Of You to add as the sentiments in Buds & Blossoms are quite large.
The tricky part for me was to combine a stencil that I have and that was in stock. And well, quite frankly it had to be the Kristina Werner Geo Mod Stencils. They are so fun and it is so easily to select single elements without using the whole stencil.
I’m pleased how this card turned out, bright and cheerful to match the weather up in the NE of England this week.
