Build-A-Bunny Easter card

Build-A-Bunny Easter card

Hi, Terri here! Today I am sharing a rainbow easter card using lots of the new Lawn Fawn release.

I started by stencilling my background using the Easter Egg Background Stencil. I chose to use Distress Oxide ink in the following colours: Barn Door, Wild Hunny, Mustard Seed, Mowed Lawn, Evergreen Bough, Broken China and Picked Raspberry. I inked using blending brushes and allowed each colour to overlap slightly to give a smooth transition to the blend.

To create the die cut sentiment I used the Scripty Easter Die, cut form hot pink cardstock and the Scripty Easter Outline Add-On Die to cut mustard cardstock. I adhered them toghther and then added some glitter glue to the pink section. I set this aside to dry. Using Henry's Build A Sentiment Bunny Puns I stamped my chosen sub senmtiments and stamped them onto white cardstock using black ink.

Creating the bunny was one of my faviourite parts of this project! I cut the elements from the Build-A-Bunny Dies in various colours and added some light ink blending to the body. I then used the Build-A-Bunny Accessories Dies to cut a bow for the bunnies hair and a carrot for her to hold.

Now it was time to bring the card together. I added the stencilled background to an A2 white card base. I then cut a vellum panel using the Lacy Rectangle Stackables. I added the bunny and die cut "EASTER" using foam pads. I then used wet glue to adhere the vellum to the stencilled panel, I placed the glue on the reverse of the vellum where the bunny and sentiment are, this way it doesn't show through. I added the sub sentiments using foam pads and added a little glitter glue to the bow in the bunnies hair.
