Christmas Advent with Purple Onion - Day 3

Hey y'all, Jen here and I am back with my day 3 of the Purple Onion Christmas Card Advent. Today I am jusing a Shari Brescariani image.. Milo & Lucy. I absolutely adore this pair of winter kitties.

I knew I wanted to paper piece the scarf on this one so found some MFT paper scraps in a colourful stripe. I stamped the image and coloured it then stamped the scarf part on the designer paper before fussy cutting around both, making sure the scarf was on the line.

For the background I used the Waffle Flower Frosted Texture Die straight on deep purple card then added this to a card base of the same colour.

I used a piece of turquouise card stock and added a panel then used another scrap of the stripe paper to add extra interest.

I created a white panel and then stamped the sentiment from Concord & 9th's Handmade Holiday stamp set in Versafine Clair nocture ink.

I stacked the background then added the image onto the card with foam tape. Love how this card turned out!
