Eclectic Florals

Eclectic Florals

Happy Thursday!

As it is almost my birthday month and there have been some fabulous releases, I treat myself to a few early birthday goodies - haha!

I absolutely LOVED the entire Concord & 9th release, but I limited myself to just a few so I could get some of the MFT too as I really loved the Box Card Bouquet dies AND if you know me well you know I am an ink pad collector! So some more of the new ink cubes fell into my basket too.

For todays cards I wanted to showcase the woodgrain circle from Concord & 9th Eclectic Garden Stamp Set. The two bold circular backgrounds is what drew me to this set.

For this first card I combined the circle with a floral spray of die cut flowers and a sentiment from C9 Friendly Hello stamp set. I used MFT Eiffel Tower to stamp the circle and it stamped beautifully without a stamping tool.

I then die cut a selection of flowers and leaves from various scraps of card to create a nice spray around the edge. I loved how this turned out, and so it lead onto my second card today...

Keeping the layout the same and my chosen circle from Eclectic Garden, this time I decided to embellish the circle with the floral spray from Concord & 9th Thinking of You Stamp Set.

Here I tried my hand at a little no-line colouring using Prismacolor Pencils. I stamped the floral in Altenew Silver Lake from the Gentlemans ink collection and got to colouring. I then fussy cut and adhered the spray to my card and decided to use one of the sentiments from the Thinking of You set too this time. That's all from me today, I hope I've given you some inspiration to get creative today. Crafty Hugs Bev
