Festive Florets Christmas Card in 5 Easy Steps

Festive Florets Christmas Card in 5 Easy Steps

Hey there, Terri here! Today I am sharing a quick and easy card using a coordinating stamp and colouring stnecil combo. We will create the card using 5 easy steps.

1. Stamp the outline cluster - I stamped the outline cluster image from the Festive Florets Stamp Set 3 times onto a piece of 80lb super smooth white cardstock using black ink.

2. Colour with the matchig stencil - I used the coordinating Simple Colouring Stencil to add colour to the images. I used inks from the following sets; Tropical Forest, Tea Party and Summer Afternoon fresh dye ink sets.

3. Adding Gel Pen highlights - using gel pens in similar colours to the inks I added some highlights to the leave, flowers and buds.

4. Splatter with ink - Using Black and gold watercolour ink and a small brush I added tiny inky splatters for added texture in the background.

5. Add Sentiment - I stamped a sentiment form the Festive Florets Stamp Set  onto a die cut circle, I mounted it onto a larger black circle before adding it to the background panel.

This card is perfect for batch making and could look different if you used blue or lemon tones. If you wanted to step it up, you could add some thread under the sentiment or place gems inthe centre of the Poinsettias.
