Hello again, I hope you had a peaceful and restful Christmas and New Year. I'm back today with a card that uses one of the older Birdie Brown stamp sets from MFT...You Gnome Me.

I'm so glad this set was re-released as I just love these little guys, so fun to colour :) I used simple colouring for this little gnome and his toadstools.... he looks rather happy to see us or is he surprised? I gave him a little snail friend and a checked shirt , I love to add extra small details like that :)

I cut around the images with scissors but fear not, coordinating dies are available too if you prefer. To add some detail to the cream card base I used two smaller images to stamp a random pattern in antique linen distress ink... the flower is from Hog Heaven and the dotted circle is from Flamazing but any small, appropriately themed images would work too.

A useful guide for stamping a background is to space your images a similar distance from each other and make rough triangles with any three adjacent images. I heat embossed the sentiment on black card and arranged the pieces onto the card front..... I do like them against the flowery backdrop :)
