Halloween Yetis
When is a Yeti not a Yeti? When it's a Halloween Monster of course!!! Today's post is all about making the most of your stash. You know how it is, you need to make a card for a certain theme/occasion and you dont have what you need. As crafters we always have somthing we can adapt to fit out ideas.
I wanted to make a little Halloween card with Monsters, but you guessed it, I didn't have any. Then I remembered I have the Yeti or Not Stamp Set form Lawn,and I knew I could clour them up to look like little monsters. I stamped both of them out and coloured them with my alcohol markers and cut them using the Yeti or Not Die set.
I cut the Giant Happy Halloween die from Ornage and black card and stuck them together with a slight drop shadow. To create the background I used some distress oxide inks on Bristol smooth cardstock and splattered with silver ink.
When I added the sentiment and monsters to the background it felt very empty, I knew I wanted something to fit the Halloween them but didnt have anything to hand. I actually gave my googly eyes to my sister for my little nephew. The I had a brain wave, I used the white dots form Altenew's Essential Enamel Dots set and added black pupils with a permanant marker pen.
