Happy Crabs

Jen here and today I have four cards using the Happy Crabs and Inquisitive Crabs dies from this months Waffle Flower release. No stamping just purely die cutting and old school dymo for the sentiments.

I started off by cutting out the happy crabs out of two colours of an orange red card stock - this is perfect for using up those scraps. I assembled them before doing the same with two of the inquisitve crab dies set in the same colour way.

For two of the cards I cut a pale blue circle using the new Nesting Piercing Circle dies and then added these to two black 5x5 square card blanks. The happy crabs card i simple added one of them on the edge and for the inquisitive crab i ran him through my die cutting machine using the pierce circles before adding him to the circle.

I didn't have any suitable sentiments (although waffle flower have the perfect ones in the release as well) so i found out my old retro dymo label maker which meant I could make the custom sentiments.

For card three I added the inquisitive crab die to the corner of the card and added one of the sentiments I had made

For the final card I added the happy crabs to a square black panel and then trimmed off the over hang. This is mounted on a blue card base and then the sentiment added.

I couldnt resist adding googly eyes to all the cards to finish them off..
