Have A Bee-utiful Day

Hi, Terri here! Today I am sharing a Bee themed birthday card using Lawn Fawn products.

I started by stamping my images onto Neenah solar crest 110lb cardstock. I used images from the You're a Keeper and Hive Five stamp sets. I coloured the iimages using alcohol markers and added a few white gel pen higlights. I then used the You're a Keeper and Hive Five die sets to cut the images.

To create the background I stencilled the Honeycomb pattern using the Honeycomb Stencil. I used Pink, Yellow, Teal, Purple and Blue ink, allowing each to overlap slightly. I then fussy cut around the pattern and added foam pads to the reverse.

I stamped my sentiments in two parts, one onto cardstock and trimmed, the other directly onto the background. I added some pink paper to an A2 cardbase and then added the white panel with the stamped sentiment. I then placed the honeycomb piece towards the top.

I added some of the die cut images with foam pads and others with glue to give a mix of dimention. I placed the second part of the setiment at the top right of the card, overlapping the Honeycomb. I think the little speech bubble is so cut and totally finishes the card.
