Welcome New Baby

A good friend of mine got a baby girl a few weeks ago. As you may already know I like to put the name of the child on the card. Because that's something you can never buy in a shop.
I love all the sets in Mama Elephant's Agenda series and I just recently bought the Little Chicken Agenda. I had this idea in my mind that the chicken could hold the letters of the name. So I stamped all the chickies that would work with this idea.
For the colouring I used alcohol markers and for cutting out the images there are coordinating dies available.
I also stamped and heat embossed the letters that I needed on matching scraps from my stash. Mama Elephant's Color Me Letters were perfect for my card.
When I lay out my card I decided it needed a frame and I chose the one from Mama Elephant's Framed Tags: Madison Avenue. I also found a tiny Welcome New Baby sentiment in Mama Elephant's Big News that I also added to my card.
All there was left to do was to assemble my card.
