Heroes On The Inside

Jen here and today I am using the Inside Arch Die from Mama Elephant with Avery Elle Super Heroes stamp set to make a fun pop up card.

I started by stamping the skyline from the stamp set twice on grey card stock in Versafine Clair nocture ink on pale grey card stock and setting it aside to dry fully before cutting them both out with the matching dies

I stamped and coloured the super heroes from the set with alcohol friendly ink and coloured them in with my markers. I left the stamps in my stamp platform so I could overstamp them with the nocture ink. I then cut them all out with the dies.

I ink blended using Prize Ribbon distress oxide and splattered with a little water before adding the panel to a white A2 card base folded on the long edge. I added one of the skyline images, a sentiment from the set and one of the heroes just above it all on foam tape.

For the inside i cut out the Inside Arch die from Mama Elephant in the same grey card stock. I trimmed it down so i could add the second skyline over the top. I place it in the top third of the card before adding the remaining heroes using acetate strips to make them look like they were flying. I decided the keep the rest of the inside blank so the emphasis was on the pop up in the middle.

I had fun trying to make a more interactive card and its perfect for childrens birthdays.
