Iconic Christmas Bauble

I do love simple stamping for Christmas cards, especially if you can set up a production line to make a few at once. I've used the Iconic Christmas Stamp to make a wintery bauble on my card today which makes a lovely clean and simple Christmas card design that's easy to reproduce...

I love the Scandi feel to this set so I chose a colour palette of reds and blues to stamp out a selection of the images inside a circle mask on a panel of white textured card. I started with the NOEL sentiment from an older Hero Arts set called Happy Merry Messages, I thought the font was a good match for the images.

After stamping all the images I used Old Paper distress ink to lightly blend around the inside edge of the circle mask, making it slightly darker towards the bottom of the bauble. I added a few extra details to some of the images with a metallic gel pen and a few dots of ink using a stylus to apply them. The best bit is peeling off the mask to reveal that perfect orb and then all that was needed was a lovely bow of twine. Very Christmassy!!
