Introducing Elliot & Marcel

Now I know there are lots of Purple Onion Designs fans out there as the majority of the brand new collection has already sold out (it's come back as soon as I can get it I promise!) but I also know that most of you are only aware of the Stacey Yacula range but Purple Onion has a whole range of AWESOME desginers any I was particularly drawn to the Elliot & Marcel range by Julian Charleton so that's my choice for todays card and it's just the perfect way to "trumpet" their arrival in a shower of confetti!!!!   So here is Elliot and Marcel Confetti Celeabration

All the stamps from Purple Onion are UNMOUNTED RED RUBBER so you will need something to mount them to stamp.   I used the great "double-sided cling" clear stamp they designed to use with their products and it's super easy - peel of the packing from either side, stick one side to your block or platform, stick the stamp to the other and hey presto - you're ready to go and without the faff of other mounting options - this one you just peel off and put back on the carrier sheet for next time.   You can trim the stamps to fit different blocks too so they're a great tool to have in your stamping arsenal.

To keep thigns super simple I literally just stamped directly onto the front of my base card and coloured with pencils (my preference for one layered cards as markers often show through to the inside).  I added a little shading underneath to ground them and then finished with one of the great sentiments from the set - there are options for lots of ocassions.

NEWS FROM THE STORE

It's going to be a busy couple of weeks of new releases in store - you can expect the following - can't give exact dates - all depends on when it gets here and how quickly we can get it added to store:-

• Concord and 9th - release every month on the 9th but not shipped to retailers until after so again we should have it mid-month

• Purple Onion Designs - restocks and anything we didn't get first time you've asked for coming as soon as we can get it.
