Live In The Meow

Hello & Happy Thursday.

Today I am sharing a couple of cards using Kristina Werner’s Live In The Meow Stamp & Die Set. I don’t normally go for ‘cute’ stamps as it isn’t my style and colouring critters isn’t my jam either. But seriously, I couldn’t resist these kitties, they are just too cute.

I am the crazy cat lady in our house and I had to colour a couple of the cat stamps to match my kitties.

Here is my first card of Jelly. My BIG boy who’s 3 now. He loves to loaf on the sofa like this, hence my choice of cat pose for my card.

I created a circle die cut window to ink blend Peacock which is the closest colour of the sofa Jelly sleeps on at night. I adhered the coloured kitty with foam adhesive and added the I Loaf You sentiment to finish this first clean and simple design.

My next card had to be coloured to look like Cali the Calico, our newest sweet girl. She is about 8 months old now and has beautiful soft fluffy fur. She loves to lay inside the bucket style sleeping spots on the cat tree and plays on her back.

So I used the same die cut mask to ink Nectar to mimic the cat tree bed. I think I will use these cards for my boys, one looks after Jelly and one looks after Cali, and I’ll include them with the kitty themed Christmas gifts I bought them.
