Lovely Christmas Legs

Hello! I hope you all had a good Easter weekend. The weather here in North Wales was gorgeous with bright sunshine and reasonably warm, well not Monday – it was quite cool then! And yesterday, when I was making this card, we had snow! Granted it wasn’t much, but it got me in the mood. So today, I’m sharing a Christmas card:

I used Colorado Craft Company’s Lovely Legs Ice Skating stamp set for the card. I got the idea from Christmas 24 Challenge where the theme is snow people. I cut a piece of design paper slightly smaller than the A2 card and adhered it to the notecard. I die cut a piece of watercolour card onto which I stamped the Lovely Legs image and heat embossed with clear powder. I used water colour pens to colour the image and added lots of sparkle to the ice with a clear shimmer brush and glitter to the trees. I finished the front by adding the sentiment.

Inside the card, I used another piece of design paper for the mat layer. On the white card I stamped the Lovely Legs image again in grey ink and finished the message in black.

I don’t usually make many cards where I do lots of colouring, but this was so easy as the embossed lines help to keep the colours in the right place!
