Hi stampers, Anni here!

Today I am sharing one last Christmas card – and a new for me. I never made a slimline card before. Can you believe it? Slimline cards are hot right now. I have to say I was a little bit intimidated by the size but it’s fun. It definitely will not be my last slimline card.

To fill all the space I stamped winter some images from a few sets: Avery Elle’s O Tiny Tree, Neat & Tangled’s Santa’s Wonderland and Snow Fun.

I coloured the images using Distress Ink reinkers and added details and shadows with coloured pencils.

For the background I used some of the inks I chose for colouring. I pressed the ink pads on my craft mat and watered it down. Then I pressed a piece of watercolour paper into it.

When it was dry I die cut the smaller rectangle from Mama Elephant’s Slim Card Basics. From the same die set came the snow drift die that I used to cut down the hills for my scene.

I arranged the scene, decided where my sentiment went and glued everything down.
