Mid-Sized Butterfly Rainbow Style

Hello & Happy Thursday.

I am obsessed with the new brand, A Pocketful Of Happiness and I couldn’t resist adding the Mid-Sized Butterfly to my stash. As it maybe no surprise to you, I love butterflies!

I love it when dies have a solid and detail choice, it provides so many more creative options. And so because of that I made two cards today. Starting with this colourful detail card.

The NEW C9 colours are still a favourite and used all the colours bar Brickyard to die cut the detail butterfly to create this all over butterfly card. My sentiment choice is from Concord & 9th Threads Of Kindness Stamp Set.

My second card was the result of not letting all the detail die cuts from my first card go to waste and using them for inlay die cutting.

I started by die cutting the solid and detail butterfly from white card, gluing them together and adding the colour.

I seemed to be a little heavy handed with my gluing and had some overspill that wouldn’t come off. So I then decided to smother the butterfly in White Blizzard Nuvo Glitter Drops. I think I got carried away, but you can never have too much sparkle! The sentiment is from Concord & 9th Delicate Blossoms.
