This week I decided I needed to use more of my stash that I haven’t given much inky love to! I was particularly drawn to Concord & 9th Flower Shaker Shapes as I had an idea for a more masculine orientated card using a selection of the stamps. Here is how my idea turned out…

I started by stamping the circle design in a selection of Concord & 9th inks across my landscape mat layer, overlapping them slightly. I then went and added the spots, stamping them in black ink.

I decided to use the congratulations sentiment from the set, which I stamped inside the banner and then die cut using the Flower Shaker Shapes Dies. Once I had adhered the banner with foam adhesive, I felt there were a few gaps in the background that needed something, so I went in and added the hooray! sentiments.

I was having fun and thought it would be rude to neglect the flowers, so decided to create an inlaid stamped and die cut card.

I started with stamping the background using the dots. I then went ahead and die cut where I wanted the flowers to be inlaid before adhering this to my card base.

The flowers were stamped and die cut and adhered inside the spaces. I added a little bit of dimension by adhering the Oh Hello circle to the centre of one of the flowers using foam adhesive. I then went in and added some Onyx Liquid Pearl drops.
