One Layer Wonders!
Hello & Happy Thursday.
Today I have a simple one layer card duo to share. I took the same layout and simply switched up the colours, focal stamps and sentiments to create two cards.
It’s been a while since I used the MFT Rectangle Trio Stencil and thought it would create a fun background for some silhouette style focal stamps. I decided to rotate the stencil to create horizontal lines instead of vertical.
For my first card I chose a trio of Concord & 9th inks in shades of green to create an ombre effect. I used Sprout, Parsley and Clover. I wanted a Spring feel to brighten up a dull, wet and windy day here in the NE!
I then used the Lilly of the Valley stamp from The Greetery Signed & Sealed with a Kiss stamp set and a hello sentiment from Reverse Confetti Cup of Friendship.
For my second card I simply switched the colours to Honeysuckle, Marmalade & Buttercup for another bright and cheerful card. This time I used Concord & 9th Bold Butterflies stamps and a sentiment from the same set.
A simple design with a bold impact, I hope you like them.
