Postage Collage Butterfly - Get Well Hugs

Postage Collage Butterfly - Get Well Hugs

Hey Terri here! Today I am sharing a get well card using lots of Waffle Flower products.

I started by die cutting a piece of 110lb super smooth wihtie cardstock using the Postage Collage Die. I then use the Butterfly Stencil to add images to each of the postage areas. I used the Royal Mail Stamp to add postage marks to the images. The Postage Collage Blocks Die was used to cut the stencilled panel. I then cut the Postage Collage Die from baby pink, lemon and light teal card. I adhered the butterfly images onto the coloured stamps and set them aside.

To create my card base I added some yeollow card stock measuring 4" by 5.25" onto an A2 white card blank. I then die cut the patterend panel using the  Dashed Rhombus Die. I trimmed this and added it on top of the lemon card panel.

Next I started to create my sentiments, I used the Overlapping Hugs Die and Stencil in colours as close to my cardstock to give the card a cohesive fell. I also stamped and cut the words Get Well using the Overlapping Hugs Additional Sentiments.

I placed the die cut HUGS at the bottom centre of the card using foam pads. I added the GET WELL over the top of this. I then worked out placement of the stamps, I decided 3 worked best and placed them so that they looked scattered above the sentiment. Lastly I added a few AB adhesive gems to embellish.
