Sentimental Florals Faux Shaker Card
Hey there, Terri here! Today I am sharing a card using a faux shaker technique. I will be using Tulle fabric and double sided adhesive sheets to create this effect.
I started by staming the floral image form the Sentimental Florals Stamp Set onto a piece of Bristol Smooth cardstock using an alcohol friendly inkpad.
I then used Altenew's artist markers to colour the images. I used the Island Garden and Space Garden sets. I then die cut it using the Sentimental Florals Die Set.
Using the left over negative from cutting the floral image I then added detail using the Dotted Diamonds Stamp Set, staped in a light peachy pink.
I added a piece of tulle fabric behind and added foam tape. I prepared an A2 notecard by adding a piece of double sided adhesive and adding some sequins and glitter. They stick to the adhesive and give a super pretty effect. I then added the top panel to the card base.
I cut the Sentimental Florals die 4 times from thick white card, layered them together and added the stamped one on top. I added these to thecard front, they slot in perfectly and give nice dimension. I added a stmped sentiment slotted in to the centre of the apperture to draw the eye in.
This is really fun technique and give so much pretty detail, I hope you'll give it a try.
