Smooth Sailing

Hello! How are you all? I hope you are all okay and adjusting to this new way of life.

We seem to have adjusted to a new 'routine', though home learning is now VERY relaxed and I 'fit' it in around lots of play for the boys & me! I got to have a little play in the studio and when I saw the Lawn Fawn Smooth Sailing clear stamp set in my stash, I knew it would be perfect to make a card during these troubled times.

I started out by using the SugarPea Designs Wave Stencil on the bottom of my white card panel. I used Altenew Cool Summer Nights ink colours and a dauber to dab the ink through the stencil as it is a delicate design with thin lines and large open spaces.

I then stamped, coloured and fussy cut the elements from the Smooth Sailing stamp set and arranged them on my card. I wanted there to be a sunshine in the sky and remembered the sun peeking from behind the cloud from MFT Panda Pals I used before.

So I wish you all smooth sailing during these times of uncertainty and hope you find plenty of creative time, energy and inspiration.
