Snipped Snowflakes with The Greetery

Snipped Snowflakes with The Greetery

Morning all!

I'm back today with some flurries of (paper) snow.

I've been meaning to get my Snipped Snowflakes dies from The Greetery out again, and this time I had an idea in mind for using the snowflakes in the Snipped Snowflakes 3 set.

This die set includes a large and a medium-sized snowflake for layering or to use separately.

The dies also include score lines to add dimension and pop to your project.

I started out by creating a Distress Oxide background in shades of blue - spritzing each layer with water and drying it before going in with a deeper shade.

Once the background panel was dry, I added a few spritzes of Shiny Bauble and Frozen Fog Distress Mica Stain, before going in with white ink splatter.

The Mica Stain really pops when you tilt the card to the light.

I then cut both sizes of Snipped Snowflakes 3 dies from smooth white cardstock and, once glued to my card, trimmed the ends off and bent up the edges either side of the score lines.

For extra sparkle, I added the Waffle Flower Merry Christmas Print die in silver glitter card on black for extra pop.

And there we have it, a frosty addition to the 2024 Christmas card pile.

Until next time, happy crafting!
