Snowy Friends
Hello, Tallie here again with you today. With the festive season fast approaching, I'm adding to my Christmas card stash with this simple kraft and pencil card, featuring the Mama Elephant Snow Friends and Scripty Xmas stamp sets.
I started off by stamping out the three elements - the snowbear, doggie and little bear - in some HA Contour Ink. This is perfect for no-line colouring, even on this lovely flecked kraft card base.
I then used my coloured pencils - today I brought out my Arteza pencils - to colour in this snowy scene. On kraft, you need to make sure you are using lots of white to really brighten up the scene from that brown base.
I finished off with a sentiment. I originally stamped it in some Silver Delicata Ink, but it didn't really show through well on the kraft, so I simply went over it with a silver gel pen.
Simple and sweet!
