Spring Basket Reveal Wheel Easter Card - Lawn Fawn

Hey, Terri here! Today I am so excited to share a Spring Basket Reveal Wheel card with you. I have been dying to create and share an interactive card using the new products from Lawn Fawn's Febuary release, so here goes...
I started by stamping my chosen images from the Spring Basket Stamp Set onto 80lb super smooth white cardstock using alcohol friendly ink. I then coloured the images using my alcohol markers. I added white gel pen highlights to all of the images and some stickles to the bow's and butterflies. I set theses aside to dry while I worked on the Reveal Wheel.
I cut all of the elements for the interactive portion of the card using the Reveal Wheel Die Set. I used the Spring Basket Reveal Wheel Drop Down Add-On to create the window where my images will be. This drop-down add-on really is a game changer, being able to have the image lower in your card design give so much more creative freedom.
I used Spring Basket Drop-Down Reveal Wheel Template to align my images on the wheel. I tape it to the wheel and stamp through the openings. I also add a little blue ink through those openings so they blend into the sky area of my card. On the main panel if the reveal wheel I ink blended a sky and added some gold inky splatters.
I cut some grass using the Grassy Hillside Borders Dies, I first of all cut a reveal wheel front panel and then cut the grass from that, this way there is a continuious stitched border around the whole card. I added some green ink with a blending brush and added them to the panel.
I knew that I wanted 3 baskets on the card and also a sub snetiment near the bottom right, I layed the cut images out and played with the composition until I was happy, I used a combination of wet glue and tape runner. I added the bows to the baskets and then a sentiment which I die cut and stickled. I stamped and heat embossed the word Happy using the Spring Basket Stamp Set, I added this below the die cut "easter" using foam pads.
Now it was time to bring everything together. I covered an A2 card base with the plaid paper from the Bitsy Blooms 6x6 Paper Pad. I then added the Reveal Wheel element. I added the Butterflies, arrow and stamped the "from all of us" at the bottom of the card.
I am super happy with how this project turned out. It's beena while since I made an interactive card so I was a little nervous, but the springtime images, along with the glitter and gold splatters really put a smile on my face.
