Tetris

Tetris

Jen here and I am excited to share a pair of card made with the Tetris die from A Pocketful of Happiness...  I knew as soon as I saw this die set that I needed to get it... Not only am I a hardcore Tetris fan but it was perfect for my Dad for Father's day.

I started by looking up the original colours for the tetris blocks then cutting out two of each of the dies in each colour before sorting out the pieces I needed.

To give it some dimension I added the pieces to a spare piece of card stock before trimming it out.  I then added this to. black card base leaving a border before adding on some falling pieces.

I cut out the sentiment from the Happy Everything die set and mounted it on a strip of white before adding the bits from the letter holes and cutting it into sections (sorry its currently out of stock but make sure you add a stock notification because this set is amazing).  I then added this to my card on the bottom right to finish it off

Since I had a million Tetris pieces left I made a bonus card... and Ive enough to probably make another 10!!!  I decided to make a Mini Slimline card as I hadn't done one in a while.

For this card I didn't stick to the traditional shapes and colours and started to use up what was left.  I did the same thing by added them to a panel first then trimming round them.  I then added some more to the card base, double layering them to give some more dimension.

I still have loads left so will make some smaller cards to use them up as its perfect to do whilst watching your favourite you tube crafty videos

Hope you have a great Saturday and are loving the new items from A Pocketful of Happiness
