Tool Kit
My card today is made with Father's Day in mind but of course it could be for any occasion or gender really. I dug out the MFT Tools dienamics which was re-released last year I think, along with the Pegboard Cover Die....
The tools are such a lovely large size... I cut them with white textured card and then used my favourite technique using distress inks and daubers to colour them. Whilst they were drying I added the small hooks into the holes of the pegboard and then glued the whole piece to the card front.
The letters are MFT's Impact Alpha die cut with woodgrain embossed card, I layered about three diecuts together to make them nice and sturdy. Then I just added a small sentiment above and turned it into a hanging sign with a piece of twine. Who remembers the woodwork room at school being kitted out with pegboards to store the tools on.... each item was outlined to show where it lived!!
