Hello, Tallie back here with you today with something a little different for me. The Anita Jeram stamps by Colorado Craft Company have caught my eye and when I needed a new baby card for a friend, the New Baby stamp set was perfect! What better way to welcome a little one into the world?

Now, I'm not as practiced in watercolour as I am in Copics so this one took a little longer for me. Definitely a medium I am still learning!

I started out by stamping out the family scene in some Antique Linen Distress ink. This is perfect for watercolouring as it is light enough to blend away even with the lighter colours.

I started in on the rabbits. For the grass, I laid down a green wash then used a dryer brush to add in some grass blades to give a little texture in places.

For the rabbits, I built up the layers and then added some of the finer details with my coloured pencils.

The finishing touch is to add the sentiment from the set underneath the scene in some Versafine ink.
