Hello friends — Terri here! Today I’m excited to share a sweet and simple Easter card featuring several products from the latest release at Waffle Flower Crafts.
This design is wonderfully easy to create, making it perfect for an afternoon of crafting with younger children or grandchildren. The steps are simple, the supplies are fun to work with, and the finished card is bright, cheerful, and full of Easter charm. Whether you’re crafting together at the kitchen table or preparing handmade cards for loved ones, this project is a great way to spark creativity and make special memories.
Let’s get started!

When creating die-cut–focused cards, I like to start by batch cutting my dies. I usually end up with more pieces than I need, but the extras are perfect for future projects. For this card, I cut all of the required elements from coloured cardstock using the Postage Collage Egg Hunt Icons Die.
I added light ink blending to the chicks and basket to give them a bit of dimension, then adhered all of the elements together.
I began by die-cutting the grass from green cardstock using the Grass Texture Die. Once cut, I trimmed the panel down to 3.75" x 5" so it would layer neatly onto a white A2 card base. To bring the grass to life, I added subtle highlights to the blades using a white gel pen — this small detail really helps create dimension and movement.

With the background in place, I started building the scene along the lower half of the card. I added some taller grass using the Sweet Grass Die. To achieve varying levels of depth, I used a combination of foam pads and wet glue, choosing the adhesive based on how much dimension I wanted each element to have. This mix of techniques adds visual interest while keeping the overall design balanced and secure.
I began by stamping a sentiment from the Egg Hunt Stamp and Die Combo onto crisp white cardstock using rich black ink for a bold, clean impression. Once the ink was fully dry, I used the coordinating die to cut it out perfectly, ensuring a professional, polished finish.

To give the sentiment added dimension and make it stand out on the card front, I adhered it using foam pads. This subtle lift creates beautiful depth and draws the eye straight to the focal point.
To finish the card, I added a touch of sparkle with Stickles glitter glue for a soft shimmer, and enhanced certain details with white gel pen highlights. These final embellishments add texture, interest.
