Hi everyone! It's Natalia here today with a fun birthday card to replenish my stash!
I recently had some supplies from The Greetery out when using the fun Capsule Party Scene die and stencil combo, and that inspired me to pull out some more past and recent celebration-themed sets from The Greetery back catalogue for a little mashup.
It all started with a stencilled background created with the All Aglow candles. I stencilled them on light pink cardstock in fun, bright colours, adding stamped details to the candle flames from the coordinating Make a Wish stamp set.
For extra party pop, I splattered white gold and light gold paint over the panel so it would twinkle in the light.
I decided that the All Aglow candles would make a fun feature inside the Capsule series. So I stamped the Capsule Collection Celebration Borders stamps on a white border cut with the Capsule Fixed Borders Small die. I cut this die from white card multiple times to make it pop on my card.
Next, I sandwiched a piece of yellow card cut with the pinked Capsule Star Studded Borders die and one of the plain Capsule Basics dies between the stamped border and the candle background.
This card called for more pink, so I created a tone-on-tone background with the Sparkler Background stamp and also added the aqua Bow Bookmark die behind the capsule to bring all the colours together.
Finally, I just needed to add a sentiment inside from the Laid Back Basics set and some more sparkle in the form of crystal sequins!
