I've been having fun with the new collection from The Greetery - I needed a card for a friend who loves to grow veg today so what could be better than the new tomatoes!

I started with the background and used generational stamping (stamping the first press of ink on scrap first) to get a soft tomato-orange background using one stamp from the Tomato Tomato stamp set. I just stamped it repeatedly across and down the card so the two different words Tomato To Mah To where next to each other to make my own sort of background paper. I also stamped the Tomatoes sign from the same set onto green card and trimmed it out.
Next I used the BotaniCuts Tomatoes dies to create a bunch of tomatoes and a single tomato sliced in half too. I used orange card as the base for the tomatoes and used some red oxide inks to blend them redder on one edge for a rounded feel. I used a green card for the stem and leaves and added a few greens for some shading with oxides again. For the sliced tomato I used red and orange card - red for the base with holes and orange for the top bit but I used the bits of "waste" from that layer to put behind the holes for a more orangey seed colour.
I just arranged those on top of the background and added a sentiment on some green card using the new Simple Everyday Sentiments (those are going to get a LOT of use from me in both sizes!!!!) stamped with Versafine Clair in Rainforest (my go-to inks for crisp sentiment stamping)
That's all from me for today but I have more to share soon (time willing!)
Happy Crafting!
