Wishing You The Zest Day Ever- Lawn Fawn Make Lemonade!

Wishing You The Zest Day Ever- Lawn Fawn Make Lemonade!

Hey there, Terri here! Today I am sharing a cute Lawn Fawn card featuring the new Make Lemonade! Stamp set, the mice are at the beach, keeping cool with a nice drink!

As always I started by stamping my chosen images from the Make Lemonade! Stamp Set onto 110lb super smooth white cardstock, with an alcohol friendly ink. I then coloured the images with my alcohol markers and added white gel pen highlights before cutting the with the coordinating Make Lemonade! Die Set.

I used the Sunray Background Stencil and 2 shades of distress oxide inks to create a background sky. I opted for Saltwater Taffy and Tea Dye. I trimmed this using the second largest of the Large Stitched Rectangle Stackables dies.

I created a background panel with the Tropical Leaves Background Stencil. I ink blended Twisted Citron and Lucky Clover Distress Oxide inks onto some green cardstock and then trimmed using the largest die from the Small Stitched Rectangle Stackables.

To create the sand I ink blended onto some white card using Antique Linen and Tea Dye Distress Oxide inks. I added inky splatters using Rusty Hinge and Walnut Stain Distress Oxides and then added some white inky splatters for added texture. Once dry I cut the panel using the second largest of the Large Stitched Rectangle Stackables dies. I then cut 2 sand banks using the Stitched Hillside Borders Dies.

To bring everything together, I added the tropical background to an A2 white notecard, then added the Sunray sky. I placed the sand banks using wet glue for the first and foam pads for the second to give dimension to the scene.

I added the Lemonade stand to the right of the scene and then placed the mice. One of the mice is serving the customers, 2 are queuing and one is run off with lemons lol. I scattered a few lemons in the sand, as if they had fallen. Lastly I stamped a sentiment onto white cardstock and split it in to 3 sections and added it to the left hand side of the card.
