Hello & Happy Thursday,
Today I have part 2 and 4 more of my 2024 calendar pages to share with you. I kept with the same layout, stamping the dates from 2024 Calendar Stamp in the top right hand corner and masking them before I decorated them.
First up today is May.
This is my birth month and I chose a favourite colour combo of Marmalade, Honeysuckle and Poppy to ink blend my background.
I then used a favourite Concord & 9th stamp set, Bud & Blossoms stamped in black to create a really striking design. I then couldn’t resist adding splatters.
For June I continued with the bright vibrant look. Thinking of June as a masculine month with Father’s Day.
I chose Sprout, Oceanside and Marmalade as my colour choice and then used the Good Vibes Turnabout stamped in black.
As we head to July I opted for a more softer and subtle month, choosing the Petal Pushers Stencil.
After stencilling the flowers I went round the edges of the page with Powder ink to add a soft finish.
Lastly for this week we have August.
For this month I chose Butterflies and finally settled on using the Boho Butterflies Stencil. I used the Boho Butterfly Stamp to add the antenae and the heart was from Petite Posie.
