Sorry my Sunday post is on a Monday night - we had technical issues with the blog over the weekend but we're back now so I thought I'd still share the cards I made for Christmas in July whilst we're still in July (just!). As we reduced a lot of older Avery Elle products on Friday, and one of my favourite sentiment sets was amongst them, I decided to use that and pair it with a new die from Concord and 9th because both are designed for corners!
I made a couple of cards and simply stamped one of the 4 sentiments from Corner Sentiments Holidays (which is now just £3 so grab yourselves a brilliant bargain!) into the bottom left corner of my card and then added a die cut using the Lattice Corner Cut die on both my cards - one rectangle, one square as they work equally well on either and those two elements do all the work for you so you could leave it at that. I decided to add a bit extra.
On the blue card I stamped some of the snowflakes from the stamp set and added stickles glittler in blue to the middle and paired it with a line of stickles across the bottom of the trimmed die cut.
For the red and green I initially wanted holly but I couldn't find a die that was long enough to fill the diagonal without obscuring the words - so I opted for BotaniCuts Juniper by the Greetery intead but made the berries red so it has holly vibes.
Really easy and quick cards - my stash is building - maybe I won't be making them on Christmas Eve this year...........
That's all for today - in news from the Store this week - The Greetery has a calendar themed release tomorrow and next week we'll have a fab new release from Waffle Flower along with restocks on all this month's Christmas sellouts.
Happy Crafting
