Jen here and today I am using one of the new Christmas Release sets from Anita Jeram to make a fun Birthday card and since I didnt use all of the images there is a bonus mini christmas card with the left overs.
I started by Hot Foiling the Waffle Flower Random Dots hot foil plate onto Concord and 9ths Oceanside card stock using a pewter coloured foil twice.
I stamped, coloured and cut out the images from the Christmas Hats stamp set from Colorado Craft company. I used a bright colour pallet for the hats rather than christmas colours.
I cut out two white panels using the Crimped Rectangle dies from The Greetery and then added sentiments. The birthday one was from an older set but I used the christmas one from the same stamp set.
I then added the panels to the card bases - the christmas card is a 3.5 inch by 5 inch card base before adding the panels and the images using foam tape.
I really love how you can sometimes use images from Christmas stamp sets for other occasions. This Set is perfect for it!
