Bunny Tales with The Greetery

Bunny Tales with The Greetery

Morning all!

I'm back with my first project using the new Bunnies & Bows release from The Greetery.

This release proved extremely popular, including the stamp and die set that is the main focus of my project today.

So if anything is out of stock, please only request a restock notification if you are prepared to wait four to six weeks for these supplies to be restocked. Hopefully they will come back into stock before Easter, but the store is waiting on an update from The Greetery.

In the meantime, please enjoy...

Card inspiration with The Greetery Bunny Tales and Have a Spine

The Bunny Tales set is the set that finally pushed me over the edge to invest in the Have a Spine die which creates book-shaped cards for a growing number of occasions. There are already Christmas and Valentine sets that coordinate with the Have a Spine die, and I used the Bookish Holidays Frames stamps to add the meadow green pattern to the front cover of my card.

And speaking of the Have a Spine die, there are detailed instructions included with the die, but Betsy's YouTube video is quick to follow and has some useful tips included.

I'm a really big fan of die sets that cut out all the sentiments and useful elements in a stamp set, so I love that the Bunny Tales dies do just that - making this an even more versatile product combo.

There are sentiments for Easter and spring, but also for welcoming a new baby into the world, and that's the theme for my card today.

In addition to the die-cut words on this card, I heat embossed the "Welcome to the World" in gold down the book spine, for that vintage feel.

The leafy tulip frame also works for any occasion, and will look great framing sentiments too.

The little bunnies are stamped on light grey cardstock and coloured in with alcohol markers. There are two little stamps for adding the pink bunny ears and cheeks, which really brings this pair to life.

And of course, I added a little puffy paint to the cotton tails - for extra dimension, you can use the Cotton Tail pom poms.

Once the Have a Spine elements were finally assembled, I mounted the book cover on a slightly trimmed down A2 card base.

Now it's time for me to start adding more of the Bookish and Have a Spine supplies to my wish list.

I look forward to seeing what Betsy adds to this series!

Until next time, happy crafting!
