Hello & Happy Thursday.
I'm back this week with part 2 of my all year round focus on The Greetery Fall Foliage collection. This week I have an Autumnal card and a Winter card to share with you.
As a little reminder, this collection contains the Fall Foliage stamps, Fall Foliage Dies and the Fall Foliage Hot Foil. I am a bit of a sucker for foliage, I find them super versatile. This set is orientated towards Fall with the sentiments contained in it, but I wanted to share some inspiration as to how they can be used all year round.
First up is Autumn.
For this card I used Altenew's Coffee Break ink collection. I love the softer tones of brown in this set. I stamped various foilage images up the side of my card base and added the Autumn sentiment.
After stamping and fussy cutting the Autumn sentiment, I realised one product I had missed and not purchased. The Let's Have a Word, Autumn Hot Foil Plate and Die!
Lastly I have a Winter themed card using the foliage.
I think this is my favourite of all four cards! I really enjoyed adding the red to the foliage to make it look like a berry sprig. I did this by using my stamp positioner and water based markers, colouring direct to the stamp.
The sentiment on this card is a mix and match. The happy is from the Fall Foliage stamp set and the Holidays part is from Concord & 9th Mix & Match Holiday Sentiments.
That’s all I have to share with this collection. I hope you have enjoyed this mini series looking at how to stretch your product uses. I will be back next week with one more card to share before CHRISTMAS!!
Until then, Crafty Hugs
