Hi everyone, it's Natalia here today with more inspiration from The Greetery's Hint of Autumn collection.
Today, the focus is on the lovely Wild Wetlands floral die set. I'm sure this will work beautifully for other seasons too, but today I wanted to go with an autumnal palette.

So I started out by grabbing various shades of cardstock in warm shades to cut the different steps of the Wild Wetlands layering dies.
The set includes a guide with colour inspiration and step-by-step instructions for how to assemble all the elements.
I added some ink blending to some of the elements to vary the shades a little and add more depth.
Next, I needed something to frame the bouquet, so grabbed the Hoopla Oval die set from Kraft cardstock. I swiped a dark brown inkpad over it to bring out the woodgrain texture, and then blended Gathered Twigs Distress ink all over. It's subtle, but the different ink tones make the woodgrain stand out more.
I cut some light blush peach cardstock for the background to the hoop and used Antique Linen Distress ink to add a bit of warmth before splattering some Red Gold paint from the Starry Colors Gansai Tambi paint set.

While that was drying, I grabbed some Nectar cardstock and ran it through with the Herringbone Parquet die for more woodgrain texture.
Once again, some ink blending with Antique Linen Distress ink added some warmth to the cardstock and brought out more of the woodgrain texture.
Finally, I needed a sentiment that wouldn't cover up those lovely florals, so I grabbed the Curio Labels stamp set and wondered whether it would fit on the new Label It dies from the Hint of Autumn collection. And happily, there are several stamps in the Curio Labels set that will fit on the different label dies. The little gold pin is a great finishing touch for anchoring the label in place.
Until next time, happy crafting!
