2025 Calendar Part 1

2025 Calendar Part 1

Happy Thursday.

I can’t believe I have left it this late to get going on and share my hand crafted calendar for 2025! I’m usually so much more organised at this.

Last year I purchased the Concord & 9th 2024 Calendar Stamp Set as I knew there must be a way to get it to work for more than one year. It’s took a little stamp cutting, but I have made it work.

I started by trimming off the months of the year from the dates. I then went through the 2025 calendar on my phone to write a list of which months in 2024 would work for the months in 2025. Here is what I cam up with for today’s first four months.

January 2025 = May 2024

February 2025 = June 2024 but mask off 2 days.

March 2025 = June 2024 but add one more day.

April 2025 = October 2024 but mask off one day.

For my month panels I trimmed white card to 10.5 x 14 cm and lightly drew pencil marks 2cm in from the sides and bottom edges. I then stamped the dates above and added the month.

And here are my first four months…

For January I was pleased to see the Waffle Flower Snowflake Cluster Die back in stock. I ink blended my background with Fig, Midnight, Blueberry and Harbor from top to bottom.

I then added the snowflake die cut which I heat embossed with clear sparkle embossing powder for that extra little touch.

For February I used Concord & 9th Scattered Heart Turnabout stamped in Sweet Pea, Honeysuckle, Poppy and Cranberry inks.

I then went in and added some heart clusters from Concord & 9th Buds & Blossoms stamped in black ink.I should have gone a little lighter on the colours as it makes the dates a little harder to see.

March in the UK is Mother’s Day, so I opted for florals.

Concord & 9th Petal Pusher Stencils came to mind and I went for some bright cheerful colours, Fig, Parsley, Buttercup, Spiced Cider and Oceanside. I added a few more Oceanside inked details above to look like falling petals.

Lastly for today I have April and went for an Easter theme using Concord & 9th Spring Bunny Stamp Set.

This set is so cute. I stamped the bunny in Wheat and then added the Easter eggs along the bottom with a floral foliage border along the right hand side.

I will be sharing the next 4 months next week and then the last 4 in January. This is such a fun crafting activity to do over the Christmas period if you’re wanting to get inky and bring out some of your favourite products from the past year and also others in your stash!
