3 Looks with Altenew's Stone Mosaic

3 Looks with Altenew's Stone Mosaic

Those of you that know me or have visited my social media pages will know that I love to take a product and create three looks with it. So this week I chose the Stone Mosaic stamp set from Altenew and also their Cool Summer Nights inks pads. They work so well together as the stamp set has four layers and the inks some in a four shade pack.

My first card is the most straight forward and easy to replicate. I stamped the base layer of the image with the darkest blue ink -Desert Night. I then stamped each of the remaining layers with the remaining inks. The sentiment was heat embossed in gold ink. CAS just the way I like it.

My second card was stamped in a similar way, but I changed the base layer to the lightest blue -Sea Glass. I stamped three of the Mosaics next to eachother to create a longer pattern. I cut this and matted it onto Gold Mirror card. I added this diagonally across an A2 note card trimming back any bits that overhung the edges. The sentiment was Gold heat embossed on white card and added using foam pads.

The final card was a little more time consuming but still relatively quick to make. This time I omitted the base layer and the darkest blue. I stamped the layers across a piece of card to fill the bakcgroud, it took four of the images to fill my card. I then used the darkest ink - Desert Night to blend onto some white card. I heat embossed three sentimetns from the stamp set onto the inked card and cut them down, giving them slanted ends. I added the sentiments in a wonky pattern to make the card a little fun and then added the panel on to a white A2 note card.

I'd love to see your take on this stamp set, there are so many ways it could be used and so many colourways youcould try too. If you do create something using it please do share it in the SHC VIP group on Facebook or tag us on social media.
