Autumn Thanks

Autumn Thanks

Hello, it’s Deborah here with you today. I made a large thank you card for my stash. I used a mixture of Concord and 9th products.

I cut a panel of white card 6” square and used the Autumn Hues turnabout stencil to create the main image. There are two stencils in the pack – one creates a full panel and the other a wreath. The stencil works in the same way as the turnabout stamps, only this time you can use your blender brushes and lots of different coloured inks to create the image. I layered the finished panel onto a piece of black card 6½” square and added the whole piece to the front of an 8” square white card. I stamped one of the large sentiments from the Apple Orchard Turnabout stamp set onto vellum. I heat set the image with clear embossing powder and then used the large apple die from the Apple Orchard Die set to cut out the greeting. I adhered it flat to the front of the card.

For the inside, I used the stencil that creates a wreath and inside the wreath I stamped another greeting. I do like the way you can use lots of different inks with the stencils.

That’s all from me today – I’m so glad to be back. Hopefully, I should be posting cards every week from now on! Take care of yourselves.

Deborah, x
