BIG Snow Flurry

BIG Snow Flurry

Hello & Happy Thursday!

I hope everyone is having a good and creative week, staying safe and well during these continued crazy times.

Today I am sharing a card using LOTS of Concord & 9th goodies. I seem to have fallen head over heals for lots of their products at the moment!

I fell in love with the Let it Snow Turnabout stamp and though it is fun to use, has some cute sentiments and accents, I felt I needed a 'statement' snowflake to pair with it. Another purchase later and the Snow Flurry stamp set and Snow Flurry Dies came to live with me - haha!

For my card today I started out by creating a die cut aperture with the large Snow Flurry Die. As I've only tested out a few of the new C9 ink colours, I wanted to try some more of my usual 'go to' colours and this time try ink blending with them.

I used the Concord & 9th Oceanside ink and blended through the aperture onto my card base. I then removed the die cut aperture and used the Aqua Sky ink colour to blend from the edges of my square card base into the centre of the card and also going over the top of the snowflake I had done first.

Next I placed my card base into my stamping platform to stamp the Let it Snow Turnabout, twice in the same two colours. This created a nice snow flurry background. I then placed and stamped the large Snow Flurry snowflake using Peacock ink and added a couple of the smaller snowflakes from the Snow Flurry snowflakes in Oceanside ink.

The sentiment is a favourite of mine from Mistletoe Messages and I've used VersaFine Onyx Black ink. I'm absoloutely delighted with how this card turned out. The products work beautifully together and the inks are lovely and juicy, which makes them good for using with blending tools.

Thank you for stopping by today & I hope I have given you some inspiration on using these products. Crafty Hugs Bev xx
