Morning all!

I'm back with a book-themed birthday card featuring the wonderful True Story bundle from Concord & 9th.

This is a great set for combining lots of fun little details to personalise your card for the recipient, especially when you know their favourite colours.

I usually trim down an A2 card blank a little before cutting the top edge with the book outline die. This gives you a little wiggle room when lining up the book spines, so there are no white edges peeking out.

Then it's time to get decorating those book spines!

All the elements used here are from the die and stamp bundle, with the exception of the number dies and monogram letter.

Personally, I'm a huge fan of combining tone-on-tone stamped accents with these die-cut elements. They really bring the design to life and add subtle details.

I added a touch of metallic Champagne cardstock, plus a little gold sparkle by going over the dotted lines with a gold pen.

And there we go, an 18th birthday card with a difference!
