Blooming Birthday

Blooming Birthday

I've gone Clean and Simple again this week for a pretty birthday card that bursting with flowers...

Everybody loves flowers and this young lady has certainly been generous with her gift, she is from Newtons Nook Loads of Blooms which is a great set on a floral theme. I stamped and coloured her with Copics adding a few glitter highlights to the flower centres. I used the matching dies to cut her out and add her to the card front with foam dimension pads. I have used a strip of pink gingham paper across the base of the card and added a row of running stitch in pink floss for some extra detail....

I used a ruler and a pin/needle to make a row of holes and added the stitching by hand. I stamped a sentiment from the set along the top of the patterned paper ... it fits just nicely in the space. I'm not sure how she can see where she is going... lets hope it's not too far to go!!

Thanks for stopping by, catch you next week :)
