If you're a fan of the Peek-a-Boo characters from Avery Elle you'll probably have noticed the Tag Topper dies in their recent release. They are not only for tags and not just for Christmas either as my card shows you today...

These little cute critters are ideal for peeking through windows on cards or tags, just like these three dressed for the chilly weather. I've cut them from coloured card and added white gel pen highlights and details. The panel is coved with patterned paper and then I used the smallest Wonky Scalloped Square Frame around three apertures which they can peek through.

I felt the fox needed a body so I used the penguin head cut in ginger and white card to make it. His paws are the bobble from the hat in the set which I've trimmed into a rounded paw shape... I made a paw for the polar bear too in the same way. He needed some winter wear as well so I fashioned a pair of ear muffs using the same bobble and a sliver trimmed from the top of the larger hat in the set...

I think the extra pieces make such a difference and it's good fun seeing how much extra use you can get from the dies. The sentiment strips are from Wplus9 set called Holly Jolly Christmas.... they fit the space perfectly. I hope this has highlighted another way you can use these dies.... they are such cute characters.
