Die Cut Love

Die Cut Love

Hi! Hope you’re all keeping well. Deborah here with you this morning and, for a change, I’ve only got one card to share with you today.

In my scraps stash, I found two large pieces of card (left-over from a card I made a couple of years ago). I adhered the pieces together and added stitched details using the double strip card front die. I then used the Concord & 9th Love Quilt die to cut out a deckle-edge square with the word love stitched into the panel. I had a strip of card left-over from last week stamped with the Love Lines turnabout stamp; I die cut the three letters from the strip and the heart from some yellow design paper in my stash. I used liquid glue to adhere the pieces into the word and then added the complete panel to the front of a 5¼” square white note card. To complete the front, I stamped a fun sentiment above and below the die cut panel.

For the inside, I cut a mat layer of yellow card and on the white panel I stamped a dotty heart in yellow and added another greeting.

That’s it! This card came together very quickly because I had the scraps on my desk. See you all again next week.

Deborah, x
