Easter Bunny

Easter Bunny

Hello, it's Deborah here with a clean and simple Easter card.

I’ve mixed up old and new products from Lawn Fawn to create an Easter scene. I started by creating a fun hillside using the Clover background stencils. I masked off the top part of the card to create a sloping hill and used green ink to make the hillside. I used my stamp positioner to stamp a bunny, some easter eggs, flowers, and a sun (greeting) on scrap white card. I removed the card from my positioner, coloured the images with Copic markers, returned them to the positioner and restamped with Versafine Onyx Black ink and embossed with clear powder. I used co-ordinating dies to cut out the bunny, flowers, easter eggs, and sun (greeting). The bunny stamp has a heart in the image, but I used scalpel to cut the arms and slipped an easter egg into his arms. The easter eggs cut in a strip, so I used simply cut them into smaller groups. I adhered the images to the card and finished by adding some shimmer to the eggs and the sun.

Inside the card, I cut a piece of bright yellow design paper from my stash for the mat layer. On the white panel, I created a greeting using words from Scripty Autumn Sentiments and Celebration Scripty Sentiments. I added a few of the left-over die cut eggs and flowers at the bottom of the card.

That’s all from me today. See you next week.

Deborah, x
